Making the Roadmap More Accessible

We want people who are ready to participate in the Respect for People Roadmap to have the opportunity to do so. Scholarship support is available at different levels, including full and partial scholarships.

Is This Opportunity Right for You?

The Respect for People Roadmap is a shared learning experience. Participants learn not only from the program content and facilitators, but also through reflection, practice, and interaction with one another.

Because scholarship seats are limited—and because other participants will depend on your involvement—we want to offer support to people who are ready to participate fully and contribute to the learning experience.

This opportunity may be right for you if:

  • You are ready to make time for the program.
  • You want to practice and apply the learning, not simply consume content.
  • You are prepared to be accountable to two triad partners.
  • You will participate actively and constructively in the cohort.
  • You are willing to give and receive candid, respectful feedback.
  • You are willing to share your experience after participating.

What the Program Requires​

The total commitment is about 
40 hours over 15 weeks or 20 minutes a day

Asynchronous lessons and reflections

Complete 72 mini-lessons, mentor reflections, and individual learning activities on your own schedule by the assigned deadlines.

Live Roadside Reflection sessions

Join 6 90 minute scheduled cohort sessions to reflect on the learning, exchange insights, and learn with other participants.

Accountability-triad exercises and role plays

Meet with your two triad partners 5 times over the 15 weeks for 30-60 minutes to practice conversations, complete exercises and role plays, and support one another’s learning.

What to Expect After Applying

  • Submit the approximately 15-minute application.
  • The Roadmap team reviews your responses and available scholarship options.
  • You are contacted about cohort placement, support level, and next steps.

How Scholarship
Support Works

The full value of the Respect for People Roadmap is $2,000. Full and partial scholarship support may be available.

In your application, you will enter the amount—from $0 to $2,000—that you can reliably contribute. A $0 contribution is completely acceptable.

Applications are first evaluated based on readiness, commitment, accountability, and potential contribution to the cohort. Financial need is not considered. For qualified applicants, we then determine the level of support we can offer based on available scholarship resources, cohort capacity, and the applicant’s proposed contribution.

If selected, you will be contacted with your proposed scholarship amount, participant contribution, cohort start month, and next steps. Payment plans may be available.

Every contribution helps us make the Roadmap available to more people. Although your proposed contribution does not change how we evaluate your readiness or commitment, it may affect the level of support available.
